The Hausa International Book and Arts Festival 2024 begins on 19 December 2024
Sada Malumfashi founded and curated the Hausa International Book and Arts Festival to showcase the best contemporary African literature, poetry, music, art, film, and theatre in Hausa. The first edition was held in Kaduna, Nigeria, in 2021 and has been hosted annually since. The 2024 edition is set to return to a new home in Abuja with activities around the theme “Hausa Popular Culture.”
